Mark Making / TACHISME
Tachisme is a type of action painting evolved in France in which haphazard dabs and blots of colour are treated as a means of instinctive or unconscious expression. I painted Dektol paper developer in various strengths on handmade paper coated with Liquid Light and then processed as usual in the darkroom. Each image is individual and can never be duplicated, except digitally.
